ABOUT THE PROJECT
The awareness of Indonesian people, about the bad influence of television on children is still very low. Parents tend to let children watch television freely without the guidance and supervision. Watching television is considered safer than playing outside who have a high risk of physical injury or another. Children watch anything on the screen, no matter whether its good or bad. This is because they have a lot of time, but they don’t have anything special event to do.
Designing the campaign of "The Harmfull of Television Programme For Children Without Parents Supervision" made for answer the problem of the television hazards, required an act to provide a visual communication that informs how important guidance to the children when watching television. The author packs a campaign through public service announcements, which are arranged in purposeful, comprehensive, and supported by a creative concept that evokes emotion audience without ignoring the factor of communication.
