It happened not a long time ago, I was finishing this project and one of my friends 'stole' my idea after I show to all of my friends about the progress I'm doing. I know instantly as soon as he/she showed his/her finished project to everyone, that he/she copied some of my idea. But unfortunately no one around me realize that. So yes, I was really hurt and mad. But what can I do? I can't complain anything because everybody in this world can design the same thing and I own nothing.
I was confused at that time because I don't know what I should do to protect myself. When I ask everybody about the same problem, most of them said the same answer. They chose to do nothing but only feel angry inside and hoping that it won't happen for the second time.
?Months after that incident, there's an upcoming student project that requires student to design an integrated graphics with a design style and messages on it. Because students are allowed to pick their own topic, I decided to pick "Design Ethics" topic based on my experiences.
I did a research before I wrote those messages. I've read articles about ethics and try to pick the most 'crime case' I've ever see. Those words I wrote for every young designers that the real work they'll face in real life is not as sweet as they think. And push them to realize how important it is to understand ethic in every work field.

I always inspired by the spirit of pop art. I love its characteristics, especially the contrast colors which express the spirit of youth. This time I designed a pop art style that doesn't look like a comic art. The style was inspired by Craig & Karl, two graphic designers in New York City. I adored their combination style between colors and graphic elements (dots and lines).
Things that I made:
/ posters
/ concept book
/ paper wallet
/ iPhone skins (4 and 5)
/ tote bag
/ sketch book
