Caliber Industries WD-01 Bellator.
This simple autonomous droid is the mother of all preceding WD series. Created as a joint effort to create soldier replacement on the battlefield by countries around the world in collaboration with Caliber Heavy Industries.
Caliber is one of the surviving company from the economical collapse in 2035, 2 years after the Short War ended.
Now with the impending alien infestation around the globe, wounded soldiers are piling, and while we are trying to stop their spread, we also manage to study some of their technology to aid in our defense. Bellator is one of the result of those works. Unlike the works of Joint Xenotech Reintegration Division or JXRD, operating under GYTRAS, Caliber produces product that looks more man-made. They only took the core principle of alien tech, not fully replicating and re-purpose it. Possibly because it's simpler to understand and maintain machine that uses mostly our own technology. Power source and servos used in Bellator, however are highly alien in nature. It's been 4 years after the first alien contact in 2049 and Bellator is ready to defend humanity.
