Universitas Kristen Petra Ilmu Komunikasi (Petra Christian University - Communications Faculty)
This is regarded as one of the ‘cooler’ departments at Petra, they are strongly supported by real world technology. They deal primarily with journalism, broadcast (radio and TV) and public relations. They are proudly considered to hold one of the best facilities in Indonesia.
The challenge relates to improving market perceptions, with regards to misaligned ideas that studying communications is not considered a ‘serious’ viable learning option.
