"A large reptile with armored skin, long jaws filled with sharp teeth, four short legs, and a long tail."

Inspired by medieval bestiaries, where animals are often inaccurately illustrated based on verbal description one person said to another, this project creates a compendium of twisted animal illustrations purely from crowdsourced verbal material. I asked my followers on tumblr to describe a real animal, living or extinct, then I visualise them in my own interpretation.
