ABOUT THE PROJECT
As a creative software company, Adobe has great concern towards education and creativity. Earlier in 2015, Art Director of Adobe from San Fransisco invited me to create an artwork for their campaign 'Adobe for Education'. The project brief was to create a thought imagery contains unique interpretation about education in my point of view as Indonesian student.

Through bunch of sketches and exploration, I took an inspiration from the basic philosophy of education in Indonesia, the famous phrases from Ki Hadjar Dewantara: 'Ing Ngarso Sung Tulodo, Ing Madya Mangun Karso, Tut Wuri Handayani". The meaning of each phrase is represented by abstraction forms of batik motifs that signify leadership, guidance, and wisdom. It was painted on a clear glass to represent idea about education as the window that change the way we see the world.
