This project is a part of Tatarupa event, where designers was gathered in order to help small business in Surabaya. Our parts is to rebrand and redesign the packagings of local products to add the value, and also create a better brand images. So I myself was partnered with Bu Diah, the owner of a small home business which produces Sambal Ijo. This sambal ijo is very special. It is made from fresh green chilis, combined with one of three marine products of Surabaya (anchovy, salted fish, and small shrimps). The sambal has three options of spiciness level: not spicy, mild, and very spicy.
