I- Batik Truntum; a representation of "the love that grows back", unconditional and continues to grow. A hope for the future of this country.

N- Batik Kawung; have a sense of unity, that mankind are useful for everyone in the society, nation and state.

D- Batik Sidoasih; symbolic of compassion as fellow human beings who develop mutually shared affection and love between people.

E- Motif Paqkadang Pao (Toraja); this motif has the meaning of cooperation in the community, family and honesty in seeking fortune.

P- Fauna; one of the beauty and wealth is owned in Indonesia.

E- Maritime; one of the beauty and wealth is owned in Indonesia.

N- Flora; one of the beauty and wealth is owned in Indonesia.

D- Myths; one of the foundations of trust culture in Indonesia.

E- Legends; one of the foundations of trust culture in Indonesia.

N- Gem Stone; one assets owned in Indonesia.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Lettering Design to To celebrate the 71st Independence day of Indonesia, we tried to explore lettering combined with patterns and graphic that represents some of Indonesia's tribes and environment. Diversity is such an interesting idea to be explored. Indonesia has a wide variety of ethnic, religion and culture, all contained in one word, “Independence", where each letter has the elements of these essence.
