Cirebon Mask Dance is one of the dances in Tatar Parahyangan. This art is the original art of the Cirebon region, including Indramayu, Jatibarang, Losari, and Brebes. In Cirebon, the mask dance itself is of many kinds, in terms of movements and stories to be conveyed. Sometimes mask dance is played by a single dance dancer, or it can be played by several people.
One type of mask dance originating from Cirebon is Klana Mask Dance. This dance is another part of the other Cirebon Cirebon mask dance, Kencana Wungu Mask Dance. Sometimes both of these Mask dances are presented together, commonly referred to as Wungu Klana Kencana Mask Dance.
Klana Mask Dance is a series of dance movements that tell Prabu Minakjingga (Klana) who is crazy about the beauty of Ratu Kencana Wungu, and then tries to get his idol's heart. But his pursuit efforts did not get results.
