What is the creative economy looks like? Imagine the logs that are cut off and just for sale it will generate 7.000 rupiah/pieces. If the logs are processed become wood frame, then it will generate 30.000 rupiah. Thus, if the logs are being creatively processed become a woods stapler, then it will generatev100.000 rupiah/pieces. Can you imagine, how much income will you earned from the logs if being creatively processed become a woods stapler?. That is the simply concept how creative economy works.

Creative economy is the fourth waves of economic growth after traditional economy, industrial, and informational, that become most valuable economy sector in the future due to creativity based on creative people whom become the renewal resources. Creative economy is the process of making value-added based on idea throughout from creative resources (creative people) and based on utilization of knowledge, include cultural and technological heritage.
Creativity can be explained as a capacity and capability to make or create something unique, made a solution out of problems or does some different grip (thinking outside the box) so that make the other sector moved (after innovation), and fixing quality of life. Creativity has tight chain with innovation and invention, creativity is a factor so that innovation came out in making creative creation by leveraging existing innovations.
Creative economy in Indonesia has a huge potential to be developed due to fact that Indonesia is the fourth country with huge population in the world. Indonesia had 240 million people, had a “demographic bonus” with huge population proportion in productive ages up to 70% from total population. Until 2030, Indonesia stand-still with huge productive ages above 60% and 27% of them are young people in the ages between 16-30 years old.
