Poster design for Thursday Noise poster contest. Thursday Noise is a Indonesia's alternative music gigs. Performing some punk rock, surf, rock n roll and other kind of distortion music. I lose the competition but I am not disappointing because other design really raw and awesome. This is an interesting contest. I love a good music and I wanna be part of this. A good gigs worth a good poster.
I got design idea from city name where this gig was held, Surabaya. The meaning of Surabaya is combination of sura meaning shark and baya meaning crocodile. Then I deform crocodile as bomber jet and shark as bomb. They was bombing the city, make noise and smoke covering all the city.
The contest require A3 size poster and square format for social media.
