A friend of mine asked me to make a painting of her girlfriend and write his favourite Bible scripture on it. It was for her birthday, and he requested it to be realistic. I make a slight impressionist touch on the artwork to give more of dramatic feeling.
The color tone was made based on the photo reference with brightness improvement for the highlight on the body parts.
The artwork is 29.7 x 42 cm (A3)
The scripture made using small sized watercolor brush so the strokes style was naturally made.
Made using watercolor on watercolor paper.
