This drawing is intended for a fanart contest, but hecc, the publisher (who host the contest) doesn't make the announcement since the deadline of the contest. And it's already more than a month since then. I had sent them a reminder about that, but they don't keep their promise until now. It's not that I want to be a winner (there always be another that better than me). It's just, I don't like someone who don't keep their promise. All participant makes the effort to make just one drawing. Moreover, this is not just someone, it's company, well known book publisher. They don't have responsibility on their own program. So, to moving on from the hatred toward them, I attached my drawing here.
The concept is about witch/wizard (I still can't understand the difference between them. Does it depend on gender?). I like winter coat which has an opening on the sleeve to jutting our hands out. I choose purple because purple is the color of mighty, great and mysterious. The cloth designed with casual outlook and have a slight medieval design. The design between boy and girl are different as you can see on this picture.
I'm starting to like character and cloth design, thought it still has to be refined everywhere. Will be drawing the similar things like this.
PS: the background was taken from Google, and edited to fit the ambience. The background is not mine.
