/ IDENTITY: TSI
Based on the company's mission to protect and preserve the diversity of both common and endangered species, the new logo is inspired by the shape of an ethnic shield, specifically from Dayak tribe, from the island of Kalimantan where the majority of Indonesian rainforest lies. The rest of the brand identity is then based on this shape.
Three alternatives of colour schemes are provided to cater different type of publication availability: Full colour print, one-colour print (e.g. screen-print), and black & white (e.g. photocopy).
Two page web preview, optimised in tablet format.
A side of brochure design, including a manually retraced and redesigned map and its icons.
Fonts used are Triplex for the logo, and ITC Stone Informal for headlines and body texts.
Custom designed icons for maps and signage applications.

ABOUT THE PROJECT
2013 – For a college course during my third year in Bachelor studies, students are assigned to pick a real brand, which we thought needed to be redesigned for various reasons, and spend the semester developing the new brand from scratch according to the real values, visions, and missions of the company selected.
For this assignment, I picked the brand Taman Safari Indonesia, which is one of the nation's biggest and oldest zoo, because I believed that rebranding a recreational site would be fun as it has an array of diverse elements. It was.
