This pattern is inspired by the Persian culture in Iran. Persian culture is a unique culture which can be seen through their architecture, textile, and also performing arts. There are many aspects of Persian culture that involves patterns, such as: Persian architecture, Persian rugs, and Persian clothes.
By studying the similarities of many Persian patterns, I am inspired to take a geometrical approach to the traditional Persian pattern. Many iconic patterns such as the star, lotus, diamond, etc. are incorporated in this design. I also try to use colors that are widely used in many Persian patterns.
