Àine is an Irish goddess of summer, wealth and sovereignty. She is a part of Celtic mythology.

"As she talks, her lips breathe spring roses: I was Chloris, who am now called Flora." Chloris is a Nymph from Greek mythology, who known as Flora, the goddess of spring and flowers in Roman mythology.

Demeter is a goddess of harvest and the fertility of the earth in Greek mythology. She is the mother of Persephone, Queen of Underworld. Some called her "mother-earth" and she believed as the goddess of fall or autumn.

Skaði is a goddess associated with skiing, winter and mountains in Norse mythology. She believed as goddess of winter.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

These illustrations were designed for my final thesis last July, inspired by the beliefs of god and goddesses in some mythologies. I deliberately specialized the goddesses of season because i wanted to make a calendar with my illustrations, and also a postcard.

Mythology and mystical beliefs always inspire me.
