"Not even a fish seller". The way this chicken skewer cart looks like doesn't represent what actually it sells. So, what is the reason of this ship-like design? I found out that the people of Madura island are really proud of their ancestors, known as the greatest sailor of Indonesia. Some of their ships, called "Phinisi" , are now at Samudra Raksa Museum, a maritime museum located within the Borobudur archaeological complex, Magelang, Central Java, Indonesia. More or less, this "Sate Kapal" cart is a tribute to their memory.
