My work is about an investigation into colour and abstraction in Painting. utilising objects and decorative materials the practice is about creating colour field or colour abstraction work on various surfaces such as canvas as well as found objects.
Using elements of design such as repetition, balance, contrast, my emphasis is on movement and direction, to create the composition in each work.
The work may be a part of a series or sit on its own. i always have multiPle images in my mind when i start creating the works, which affects the final resolution. each project is broken into a series of branches, which for me create a chain reaction in my process of making art.
