This was made as an entry to Kreavi Competition : City of Heroes
The idea behind the piece was the cooperation of all component to make Surabaya a better place for everyone. Each hand supports and is being supported by another hand.
The hand represent each of the component, which are
the government, in brown long sleeve,
technology advancement (as it is said to improve the system by having e-governance), in robotic hand
the greenery of better living environment, in gardening glove
the last but not least the economic growth of local business, in red sleeve.
Surabaya has been a better place due to the stern struggle of its beloved mayor
However, leadership is just an empty direction, if it is not for everyone to help each other
