The first project of 'Studio Utama Grafik Desain 2' is my paper cutting self-portrait that represents two of my characteristics, which are cheerful and talkative. Before the final result can be done, in here I show the progressions that I have made in order to complete the project. From brainstorming all the way to making some of the elements or principles of design, such as dots, lines, shapes, composition, and color (mood board). Both Cheerful and Talkative can be seen on the yellow orange background and the paper cutting of alphabets that are carved around the self-portrait. Yellow and orange colors are bright colors that psychologically shows cheerful and happiness, which eventually can represents someone who is a good communicator or loves to talk. The paper cutting of alphabets is carved randomly emphasizes how I likes to talk or I can say I'm talkative in a way about random stuff.
