ABOUT THE PROJECT
An Indonesian fable about a smart Mouse Deer (Kancil), a timid Rabbit (Kelinci), and a proud Tiger (Harimau). 'Bende' means 'gong' and 'wasiat' means 'magical'. This folktale tells about Kancil who tricks Harimau to punch a magical gong which apparently is a beehive.
I choose comic panelling method to made it more brief but fun and interactive. This illustration was done with pencil colour and water colour in A2 paper.
I add some of other assignments based on the same story.
