Did you know that child labor in Indonesia reaches 1.2 million & around 3.06% of the total children aged 5-7 in 2017?
Employing children is basically something that violates human rights (HAM) because it can adversely affect the physical, psychological, and social development of children. Working in harsh environments such as roads or mining can affect the health of children who are not yet immune like adults. In a harsh environment, it can also affect a child's psychological state of being angry, vindictive, etc. Busy work makes children do not have time to meet their needs such as playing, interacting with friends, as well as formal or non-formal education. This can affect their lives in the future
So, please stop hiring children under age. Don't ruin their childhood!
