The MV set in a real therapy session between Narelle and her therapist. There are 6 camera with no operators in the room. Through showing Narelle in a vulnerable and honest state, the director hope to destigmatise conversations around mental health. It is quite challenging for me as an offline editor to work with six angle static shot. So then I try to explore the composition by scale it up or down extremely, change the position and mirroring it. And had a discussion with the online editor as we tried to incorporate some effects in the shot that suits Narelle’s emotional reaction throughout the therapy session.
