TYPOGRAPHY II - SQUAUHAUS
Typography
This project obligate us to choose one of the standard typeface to be modified. I took Bauhaus 93. This new typeface I made, Squauhaus, is from "square" and "bauhaus".

How Squauhaus born. So, he underwent 2 steps in this modification process....
...And these are the exceptions I did for the sake of the unity and system.
The common traits of Squauhaus are those parts in red circles.

My work when I was in semester 4, for Typography II class (2013).
Objective
To create our own typeface through modifying existed typeface.
Challenges
Creating a system for a typeface is actually hard; because you need them to be identical but every letter should be distinguishable and legible. The new typeface should has a different “mood” from the original one too.
Solutions
I modified Bauhaus 93 through cutting and re-assembling, turn the new typeface into a very different one from the original.
